Carissa grew up in Rosendale, but now has a country home outside of Appleton. Her time outside of work is enjoyed with her husband Adam and her children, Emery, Adalyn, and Liezel. They spend much of their free time up north near the Crivitz area. She loves to travel and was fortunate to get an opportunity to spend a year studying abroad in Australia and also was able to backpack for seven weeks throughout Europe after college graduation. She is also an active volunteer at Alliance Church in Discovery Land with the little ones.
Carissa received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, where she graduated cum laude. She majored in Business Administration, focusing on finance and economics. After graduation, she began her professional career in the banking industry as a credit analyst. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since graduating from law school, her legal career has been focused on comprehensive estate planning.
Carissa is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a member of Wealth Counsel, a nationwide collaboration of estate planning attorneys and other legal, tax, and business professionals. She is also a member of the Wisconsin Council of Estate Planning Attorneys and the Outagamie County Bar Association.
