Attorney Stacie L, Dobbe, a Wisconsin licensed attorney, began her career as a Human Resources professional with a focus on benefits and retirement plans. Wanting to focus more on retirement benefits and how to ensure retirement money is protected, Stacie now transitioned exclusively to Estate Planning, Trust Settlement, and Probate matters. Stacie believes that “life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.” She believes that preparation is key in all aspects of life. The best laid plans can go awry. Life and health are uncertain and proper preparation will help ease this uncertainty.
Stacie is a Kentucky native. She served thirteen years in in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Specialist, both Active & Reserve duty, where she was one of the first 50 women assigned to a Pacific Fleet Aircraft carrier, supported Operation Southern Watch, and was deployed in 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Stacie graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Upon graduation from EKU, she studied law at the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, OH. Stacie also graduated, With Honors, from John Marshall Law School where she received her Master of Laws (LL.M) in Employee Benefits with a focus on retirement plans.
Stacie has lived in Wisconsin for 10 years now. She is a southern girl at heart but has embraced the frozen tundra, although not so much the frozen part. She is a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan, “bleeding blue” in all aspects…basketball, football, and the Kentucky Derby. She has adopted the Packers and the Brewers, but her husband is still trying to convert her into a Badger fan. She loves to read when time allows and spending time in the kitchen cooking, baking, and entertaining. She loves music and attends as many concerts as she can. She loves to travel, which is a product of her time in the Navy.
Stacie is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She also is active in her church family, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she sings in the PoP Bluegrass Choir, performs in the Peace Ringers Hand Bell Choir, teaches her very lively first grade Faith Formation Class, and serves on the Long-Range Planning Committee. She is also a board member and personnel committee chair for Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of the Fox Cities and serves as President of the Fox Cities Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.
Stacie is blessed with a wonderful and very busy family. Her husband Jeremy, a Waupaca native, is also a Wisconsin attorney. Stacie has two very rambunctious boys – Landon (8) and Everett (5). Her two dogs, Kylo Ren and Dixie Rey complete her busy family.
